SBC is currently undertaking some of the largest construction projects coming up thus contributing to the changing landscape of Nairobi city. These include expansion of the Aga Khan University Hospital at Parklands, new offices for APA Insurance at Westlands, new shopping complex for Tusky’s Supermarket on Langata Road, expansion of International Livestock Research Institute at Kabete, new office block development at Westlands and upper hill.
Other prestigious buildings projects that SBC constructed are: CfC Stanbic centre on Chiromo Road, Prestige Plaza on Ngong Road, Cross Road Shopping Complex, Africa Institute of Capacity Development (AICAD) at Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology, and New Parasitic Research Institute at KEMRI.
One project that the company is proud to be associated with is the recently completed Coca-Cola divisional headquarters on Mara Road in Upperhill area of Nairobi. As main contractors, SBC encountered challenging features from the building’s circular design, with all windows facing north, triple volume ceilings, decorative feature walls and modern conference facilities and office fitout. Thanks to the company qualified team and experience in construction, the challenges were overcome with ease and the project accomplished well on time. The successful completion of the Coca-cola project endorsed the believe held by many in the construction industry: that Seyani Brothers & Co (Kenya) limited are Kenya’s leading general building contractors.
